Sunmaker Successfully Hosts 2025 Summer Huicui Lake Entrepreneurs Club Qingdao Sharing Session
Diverse Exchanges Foster Collaboration, Synergistic Development Unveils New Chapter
On the afternoon of August 30, 2025, Liu Binli, former Deputy Director and First-Level Inspector of the Shandong Provincial People’s Government Office in Beijing and founder of the Huicui Lake Entrepreneurs Club, visited Sunmaker Energy Services (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. — an enterprise led by the club’s deputy chairperson. He participated in the 2025 Summer Huicui Lake Entrepreneurs Club Qingdao Sharing Session alongside Qingdao-based club members and representative alumni entrepreneurs. The event was designed to establish an interactive platform for alumni entrepreneurs, foster resource and experience sharing, and advance collaborative development among alumni enterprises.

The event was chaired by Liu Binli. Distinguished attendees included Hu Yigui, Director of the Alumni Association and Head of the Cooperation & Development Department, along with special guests Zhao Dingzun (from the Development Department of Haier Group) and Zhang Yanmei (formerly of PetroChina’s Petrochemical Research Institute and currently a specially-appointed expert at Zhongke Holding New Materials Company). The gathering was also joined by representatives from member enterprises of the club based in Qingdao.

Liu Binli emphasized that the Huicui Lake Entrepreneurs Club, supported by the alma mater and the Alumni Association, is dedicated to building a collaborative brand for China University of Petroleum alumni. By uniting the strength of alumni entrepreneurs under the philosophy of “Communication, Cooperation, Mutual Assistance, and Win-Win Development,” the club aims to foster collective growth among member enterprises. Currently comprising over 60 members—including founding pioneers and emerging forces—the club is actively establishing liaison offices in key petroleum cities such as Karamay, Daqing, and Liaohe, as well as in innovation hubs like Shenzhen, Guangdong, to integrate high-quality resources. He concluded by outlining both current challenges and future directions, expressing his vision that in-depth exchanges will help member enterprises overcome development obstacles and seize market opportunities.

Hu Yigui fully affirmed the pivotal role of the Huicui Lake Entrepreneurs Club in uniting alumni strength and promoting collaboration with the alma mater. He emphasized that the “alumni economy” serves as a crucial engine for driving high-quality regional economic development, affirming that the Alumni Association will continue providing steadfast support to the club and its member enterprises. This support aims to facilitate deeper industry-academia-research integration and accelerate project implementation. He expressed hope that the club will further amplify its function as a bridge between alumni and the university, enhance services for entrepreneurial alumni, and bring greater honor to the institution.

During the member sharing session, participating club members engaged in in-depth discussions centered on the full lifecycle needs of enterprise development. The sharing encompassed multiple dimensions: from corporate development strategies and core business upgrades to industry trend insights; from resource recycling, new energy, and vocational education to skills training and the opportunities and challenges of “going global”; and from inter-member collaboration to practical pathways for university student internships and entrepreneurial mentorship. The rich and pragmatic exchanges sparked continuous intellectual synergy throughout the venue.
The event concluded with Liu Binli summarizing the discussions and outlining the club’s follow-up initiatives. He noted that the sharing session had not only ignited dynamic intellectual exchanges, allowing enterprises to learn from each other’s development experiences and foster collaboration, but also clarified the club’s future direction:
(1)Strengthening Institutional Development: The club will enhance its organizational structure and membership outreach efforts, deepen regular exchanges among members, and explore more diverse and effective event models. These steps are aimed at continuously improving the club’s operational quality and strengthening alumni bonds.
(2)Optimizing Liaison Office Operations: Efforts will focus on building cooperation platforms to facilitate trade partnerships, business collaboration, and conflict mediation. By promoting solidarity among member enterprises, the club seeks to leverage collective strength to navigate market challenges and seize development opportunities.
This Qingdao sharing session represented a significant step in deepening regional connectivity among alumni enterprises. It not only provided an efficient platform for communication and cooperation but also strengthened the foundation for alumni-driven economic growth. Moving forward, the club will remain committed to its core mission of “serving alumni enterprises and empowering industrial development,” while exploring more diverse exchange models to inject new momentum into high-quality business growth, enhance the reputation of the alma mater, and contribute to regional economic development.
